Show Notes

This week's episode of Ghana in Focus ends our series for now looking at dating / relationships in Ghana.

This week we focus on Ghanaian men and the things ladies / sisters from the diaspora need to watch out for.

Since the year of return on 2019 tens of thousands of Afrikan women from the diaspora have come to Ghana to relocate do business  and to find love.

We start by warning our sisters from the diaspora that you are targets for some unscrupulous Ghanaian / Afrikan men because of the perception of what you stand for .  Again we highlight that lighter skin Afrikan / Black men are  sought after by Ghanaian men.

We urge sisters to be mindful that some men may target you not necessarily for love but what they can get from you and what they think you are such as a meal ticket or a chance to go to the West.

We also advise sisters on some of the behavioural traits of some Ghanaian men such as bad time keeping (Ghana Man Time GMT), being very deceitful and also lying about the fact they may have  a girl on the side-lines who they might refer to as my sister.

We urge sisters to tread very carefully when dating in Ghana,
