Afrika in Focus Special: White Genocide in South Afrika - Myth or Reality
The concept of "white genocide" in South Africa has become a rallying cry for right-wing movements worldwide, but what's the truth behind this inflammatory claim? Our deep dive reveals how this narrative serves as a calculated distraction from South Africa's genuine crisis: the ongoing economic apartheid that persists decades after the formal dismantling of the segregationist system.
Descendants of Dutch, French, and German settlers have spent years courting conservative media outlets worldwide with tales of persecution, yet the evidence tells a dramatically different story. African farm workers face violence at three times the rate of white farmers, while the commercial farming operations these landowners control primarily produce exports rather than feeding South Africans. The stark reality is that white South Africans still control approximately 80% of the country's fertile land and 90% of its wealth – hardly the picture of a persecuted minority.
The heart of South Africa's struggle remains unaddressed: the 1913 Native Land Act that formalized white land theft and prohibited Africans from purchasing property. When Nelson Mandela negotiated the end of apartheid, one condition of his release was abandoning aggressive land redistribution – a betrayal of the Freedom Charter's core promises.
Thirty-one years after Mandela's presidency began, South Africa remains profoundly unequal. Black unemployment stands at 50%, most African citizens lack access to quality education and healthcare, and the life expectancy gap between Black and white South Africans stretches to 20 years. Meanwhile, the secretive Afrikaner Brotherhood continues to exert control over South Africa's economic and political systems despite the ANC's nominal governance.

So Cyril Mokhosa, the President of South Africa, went to see Donald Trump in the White House Oval Office a couple of days ago and Trump showed me videos of, you know, this narrative of white genocide in South Africa. And so, like I said, the topic is white genocide, myth or reality? The topic is white genocide, myth or reality.
Speaker 1:So, over the last say, 10, about 10 years, these africaners are white and, uh, we need to make it quite clear that these people are not africaners. It is an affront to the term africa and africans, yeah, that these cauc, caucasian people call themselves Afrikaners. Let's give them the right term. So these people are Dutch, huguenot, french and German ancestry, yeah, so I'm not going to call them Afrikaners, I'm going to call them who they are, you know, I'm going to call them who they are, you know, descendants of Dutch, french, huguenot and German extraction. Somehow they have been persecuted because of the colour of their skin and they are being dispossessed of their land by marauding Africans. So these Dutch, huguenot, french and German people have gone, particularly around the ultra white world.
Speaker 1:They've gone on talk shows, they've gone on conservative TV programmes, radio programmes, particularly in America, but also in Canada and as a part of Europe as well to propagate this false notion that somehow, as European people, white people, they have been persecuted in South Africa people, white people that have been persecuted in South Africa. Now you know, even you know political parties that represent these people have come out openly and say it's not true. And many other white people, european people living in South Africa, has also dispelled this myth, this lie, of a so-called white genocide. But, like I said, this has been propagated by part of the right wing in South Africa for about 10 years because they want to keep the land that their ancestors stole and I'll come into that in a minute. And so we see this myth that's been peddled, particularly in right wing papers, right wing podcasts, right wing media, european media outlets, that somehow white people have been persecuted and white farmers so-called have been killed in South Africa. The reality is is that only a small percentage of so-called white farmers have been attacked because of the situation that's going on in South Africa. The reality is that black farm workers, african farm workers, have been attacked more, in fact three times as more, than Caucasian farmers.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so these are Africans who actually work for these so-called white farmers on their land as stewards, or picking the crops or even ploughing the land on which these crops are grown, on these white farms. And let's not forget, yeah, that a lot of these white farmers so-called are commercial farmers, so the food that they grow does not, is not consumed in South Africa. A lot of what they produce is actually um exported to other countries, ie the European Union, north America, asia, australia or wherever you are. There's even Stolenbosch, an area outside Cape Town of land that is where the wine of South Africa is grown, stolenbosch, and that's owned by one white man and that white man is responsible for, you know, a lot of the wine that comes out of South Africa, which is actually most of which is actually exported to North America, europe, asia, etc. So you know this, this notion that commercial white farmers somehow feed South Africa is a lie and has no basis in truth. Yeah, because, like I said, a lot of them commercial freehold farmers who primarily export out of South Africa.
Speaker 1:You know, we have to understand that this is just propaganda, because these French, german, huguenot and Dutch descendants, right, have never been happy with the fact that there is a majority African government, apart from right now in South Africa. So you've got the ANC, many of these right wing white people. They hark back to the days of apartheid legal apartheid because, like I said before and on many other podcasts, apartheid is still here, apartheid has ended. But these Caucasian people of that right wing ilk, they hark back to the days when apartheid was legally an instituted system whereby African people had to eat at different places, had to shop at different places, had to use different transport, even had to be buried in different cemeteries. Yeah, so a lot of these Dutch, german, huguenot and French people hark back to that golden period in quote-unquote South African history where they subjugated black people 100%.
Speaker 1:And so this false cry, this cry wolf of white genocide, is basically a group of ultra white people who will sit very, very nicely with those, you know, those rednecks in the deep south of America and those white supremacists like Trump, to bring back apartheid because for them, you know, it is an aberration that you have an African government, you know, heading that country. But the truth of the matter is and I want to comment about also in this podcast, why that? You know, the ANC government is just a charade, because there is a secret force that controls South Africa, and again, we'll tell you a bit more about that later. And so this cry of white genocide is a lie. It's an attempt to hide the real agenda, which, again, I'll come on to later on, and it's an attempt to skew the view of the rest of the world as to what's really going down in South Africa. Now you know, donald Trump has been advised on this particular issue by Elon Musk.
Speaker 1:Elon Musk is a white supremacist who father benefited from apartheid regime and made his wealth in the diamond or the emerald mines in Southern Africa. That's how the Musk family made their money, and some of that money was given to Elon. So Elon Musk, who was born in 1971, the height of apartheid he enjoyed the life where he had black servants, black maid, black chauffeur, driven cars, went to exclusive white schools. This is a man who richly benefited from apartheid. He has been along with what is called the PayPal Cabal, with what is called the PayPal Cabal, and the PayPal Cabal are again a set of Caucasian people who were born in South Africa, made their money in South Africa but left South Africa before Nelson Mandela became president of South Africa. So it tells about these people. Why left South Africa? Because they didn't want a black government to ruin South Africa and they were appalled by the prospect of a black government. So this is what the likes of Elon Musk and the PayPal cabal left South Africa, showing that they are the true racists and the true white supremacists. But they have somehow influenced Trump to come to this absurd notion that there's white genocide taking place in Azania.
Speaker 1:And for me and many of the commentators, this cry of white genocide is politically motivated. It's also opportunist and it's about, you know, making South Africa white again by formally reinstituting the system of apartheid, and so listeners around the world do not be fooled by this lie, and it is a lie which can be proved and I'll put. I'll tell you that many people in South Africa say it's a lie, but I'll give you some documents after the show that you can read for yourself, that prove that this white giant is a lie. So we have a situation now whereby, you know, they've been able to, you know, manipulate Trump and Trump has bought into this idea of white genocide Because, like I said, this is politically motivated by Elon Trump and the PayPal cabal for their own geopolitical and, you know, anti-african perspective. And don't forget, elon Musk, the Musk family and the PayPal cabal and their families still own land in South Africa. And that's what basically this whole thing's about this false notion, this lie of white genocide.
Speaker 1:Why Is's a distraction? A big distraction, because we're getting to the real nitty-gritty now, and that's the land issue. This white genocide is distracting from the real land issue. And it's funny how they cry foul, they cry wolf when Surama Fosa and the ANC are now putting into place what is called an executive order for a apparently Land Expropriation Act, which thereby tells private individuals to hand over portions of land that their ancestors stole, and without any compensation. And this happened and this is a crucial issue because, again, go and google 1913 native land.
Speaker 1:That was the formalisation of white theft in South Africa. That was the formalisation of white theft into Africa. See, before that you had the Boer War, so the Anglo-Boer War, whereby, you know, the British and the Dutch were fighting amongst themselves and killing Africans in the process to see who could steal the most land in South Africa, right. So after that Anglo-Boer War, which many Africans fought and died for yeah, because they were manipulated by both sides they came up with this 1913 native, so-called native land act, which basically allowed white people to steal, literally steal land that belonged to the indigenous African population, whether they were Hossa, sulu, setswana, indebele Shona. What have you that gave them legal right to take their land by force and then push Africans, yeah, to the less fertile, less arable land and more arid land. And then they created these so-called settlements and townships for them as a result of this land grab. Secondly, under the Native Land Act 1913, no African person was allowed to buy land in South Africa, showing you the wicked intention of white people, yeah, the British and the Dutch and the rest of them, who occupied South Africa, yeah, and then stole the land from the African people, created the law to justify that stealing and then pushed African people into so called townships and settlements and made laws that prohibited African people from selling land, from buying land.
Speaker 1:That is the root issue in South Africa and this is why, like I said in my last podcast about Mandela, mandela is a traitor. The ANC are betrayers because, yeah, when Mandela was negotiating for his freedom in the 1980s, in no uncertain terms, he was told that one of the conditions of us losing you is that you do not tell anything about the land. Did you hear Nelson Mandela talk about land issue before? Central in the whole struggle in South Africa, to the extent that a charter was drawn up by the ANC in 1955 as a blueprint or a black print for their struggle in South Africa, and that became known as the Freedom Charter. And one of the key recommendations of the Freedom Charter was the redistribution of land that was stolen by the white man. Give that back to the indigenous rightful African-Americans.
Speaker 1:However, nelson Mandela, and particularly Nelson Mandela, and particularly Nelson Mandela and other parts of the AMC, of which Ramaphosa himself was part of, because Ramaphosa, he, was the so called chief negotiator in the negotiations between 1989 and around about 1994 that led to the so-called free and fair democratic elections that ushered in Nelson Mandela as the first democratically elected president of South Africa in May 1994. And that condition was that you, mandela, you AACC, must never discuss the land issue. So all this, all the struggle, was in vain, because African people under Mandela, under ANC, sold out the issue regarding land redistribution because Mandela and the ANC wanted fame and power for themselves. And so this is where we are, and this is why those right-wing white people with their own anti-African agenda are crying white genocide, because they want to detract the whole world from the real issue that's going on in South Africa, which is land distribution to the right of African owners and also addressing the massive inequalities that blight the lives of African people in South Africa. Because today, 31 years yeah, 31 years after Nelson Mandela became the first so called democratic elected leader of South Africa, black people are in a worse position now than they were when Nelson Mandela became president today.
Speaker 1:I'll just give you a few statistics. Today, black unemployment right is about 50%. There's no jobs for a lot of black people in South Africa. Why? Because many Africans in South Africa have not got access to education. Because now education is what you can buy that gives you access to education in South Africa, and because of the legacy of apartheid, many African families do not earn a decent enough salary in order to give their children the best education, because they say education is nothing to write home about. Yeah, so you see, the affluent african people in south africa send their children to these exclusive private schools, like having jonasburg, stanton and ramberg. Yeah, the majority, yeah, the majority of African people can't afford that. So this is why many African people are basically unemployable because of the lack of education, because of the fact that in South Africa, it's about money talks well, then, your ability as a person. So, because many African people don't have the money, their access to education is minimal, and so if your access to education is minimal, you're not going to get the requisite qualifications or work experience or skill set to compete for the job market in Azania or South Africa, which is why black unemployment is very, very high.
Speaker 1:Again, african people in South Africa live in some of the worst housing in South Africa. Go to Soweto, go to Alexander Townships, go to some of these townships where African people live. You know the squalor, the poverty. You know the lack of proper running water, the lack of electricity. Yeah, in this town, just right, is very, very pathetic, but that's the reality for many African people living in South Africa. Yes, there is an African middle class, a so-called black middle class, but that's a tiny minority of African people who live in South Africa. The majority, a whopping 80 percent of African people in South Africa, right, live in dire poverty. Yeah, and the ANC said that they were going to build a massive housing program to ensure that the older men and women got a shelter that they could lie their heads on. Yeah, 31 years after Mandela became the first president's wife, anc haven't even built a quarter of those houses that they're going to build. Many of our people, you know, are living in inadequate housing.
Speaker 1:Yeah, again, healthcare Healthcare for African people in South Africa is poor, again, because of money. Many of our people do not have access to first class, suitable and affordable healthcare, and, again, this is a legacy of apartheid. And so, because of this, uh, inequality, many african people in south africa lack access to even basic health care, which is why life expectancy for an african people in south africa is about is about 15 to 20 years less than your average Caucasian in South Africa. So these are some of the massive inequalities, you know, that is taking place in South Africa that many of you do not know about because of this lie of white genocide, which is essentially a destruction, so that you don't know about these mass inequalities taking place right now in Tanzania or South Africa. And so let me just tell you why. It's even bigger than Nufflite, particularly from people who call themselves Afrikaners, like I said, descendants of Dutch, french, huguenot and German descendants, or terrorists, that today, and this is why this explains the poor land redistribution and there's been a massive inequality in South Africa.
Speaker 1:You know that there's a secret society called the Africana Brotherhood. Yeah, that control that still controls South Africa. They controlled it since the apartheid era. Yeah, they are the ones who secretly govern South Africa. So, anc, right, don't get it twisted. You may think the ANC is the government, but no, the ANC does not wield that much power. The power belongs to the Afrikaner Brotherhood, and I'll Google it. You can Google it, but I'll also put it in the front of the show To tell you that, contrary to what you think you believe, to contrary to what you think you know, to, contrary to what you've been told, south Africa is run by an Anharika-Bao Brotherhood that is called the Afrikaner Brother Bond.
Speaker 1:So this should even put to bed this nonsense of white genocide. Because if it does white genocide, how come South Africa is still run by white people? If this is white genocide, why is it that white people control 80% of the land? Hmm, if this is white genocide, why is it that white people control 80% of the land? Hmm, if there is a white genocide, why is it that white people still control the vast majority of the best farmland in South Africa? If there is a white genocide, why is it that white people still control the economy in terms of the production, the methods of production, the economic output, the economic activity of the country and, more importantly, if there is a white genocide, why is it that white people control 90% of the wealth in South Africa?
Speaker 1:Yeah, go to Johannesburg, stanton, johannesburg, ramburg, right, that is, you know, some of the richest real estate in Africa. Go to Centurion in um Cape Town. Go to um Constantinople in Cape Town. Go to um you know, durban. Yeah, go to Pretoria and see the opulence, yeah, the sheer opulence and wealth of white people living in their 10-bedroom houses with swimming pool and tennis court.
Speaker 1:Right, and you want to come and tell me. You want to come and tell this lie, you want to come and tell this myth that there's a so-called white genocide in South Africa. Well, we know that's not the case and we know for a fact that the white people still control the economy and, more importantly, aside from the land, they control the resources. So, all the gold, all the diamonds, all the emeralds, all the platinum, all the mineral resources in South Africa are controlled by white families like Oppenheimer family and De Beers family, right, and you want to cry about white genocide? Hmm, so this is what I'm saying.
Speaker 1:Listeners, right, do not fall for this white propaganda about white genocide because, like I said, it is opportunist and there is a wicked agenda behind this so called white genocide that has been peddled by the likes of Elon Musk and the PayPal cabal. So I'm closing. White genocide is a lie, is a myth, it doesn't exist. It is an opportunist notion to distract particularly African people from the massive inequality that is in South Africa. Also, the land issue in South Africa is very, very pertinent, and this is a distraction because white people today, like I said, control more than 80% of the fertile land and have no intention of giving it back without bloodshed, and so we have to understand that this myth of white genocide is a lie and a myth to detract African people from the real agenda, from the real go of what's going on.
Speaker 1:And this white genocide has a very, very wicked and evil agenda. Yeah, that we need to nip in the bud before it creates, you know, you could say a civil war within South Africa, because, at the end of the day, people that are making this noise about white genocide, they have an agenda, and that agenda is to keep South Africa white, to keep their land, to keep all the minerals in place that they stole and to keep the economic hegemony intact that they stole and to keep the economic hegemony intact. And so that is the agenda of these ultra right wing white people and their cohorts when they cry foul of white genocide. And so we need to be very circumspect, as African people, as to what the real agenda is and what our agenda should be, as African people, in real agenda is and what our agenda should be as African people, in challenging these myths and lies and also pointing out to the world that South Africa is the most unequal country in the world, to the fact that African people are landless, stateless and refugees in their own country because they've been dispossessed of their ancestral lands. And until African people in South Africa really get their land back, then this is going to be a great fight of our age and as African people, we need to understand that and recognize that and not buy into any white propaganda coming out of Trump or coming out of these so-called Afrikaners who are anti-black and anti-African in their position. And so I thank you for listening to this edition of African Focus talking about the lie of white genocide.
